To All Middleby Marshall Service Providers

October 4, 2006

Thank you for your suggestions, your suggestions are attached.  Here is a smaller file on the Re-crating and it will be posted on the Middleby Website.

Shifting gears, my next two Middleby Service Training Schools are already filled.  I do not have dates for them.  I am asking if there are additional needs for me to schedule more schools this fall?

Many of you have taken advantage of our Mobile “Live” Training aids.  Those service providers found a great deal of value in using them.  One “FIND” out of this was that some of the techs may not have known (quickly) how to set their electrical meter when troubleshooting, …..output from the Temperature Controller (PID Mode), our J Thermocouples, the DC Voltage to the Modulating Gas Valve, and Flame Rectification.

I expect to be filming the first week of November.  I welcome your “TIPS”.  I want to breakdown the Middelby Marshall Conveyor Oven System into segments in length of no more than 8 minutes (conveyor drive system, main blower system, heating system.)  I expect to also provide the whowhatwhenwherewhy and how come of the complex components….the High Limit Module, the Signal Amplifier Board, the Middleby Marshall Temperature Controller, the Speed Controller, the Various Finger Arrangements and the Various Ignition Systems.

What type of additional training do you think your Techs need today?  I also plan to add digital photos (by Model Number) to the Technical Publications website, showing the internal components with the covers opened/removed.

Each of you are faced with the same problem…..finding “experienced” food service techs.  I am hoping these DVD films can assist you in bringing your new techs up to speed faster.  I welcome your ideas.

Thank You for your Support!
