Hello,
Attached is a digital photo of the EARLIER and NEW twin burner.....Our Parts
Department is in a stocked inventory position with the NEW. I visited our
Manufacturing Floor this am, we have a small amount of the EARLIER version
and I suspect, effective early June, 2007.....all production will have the
New twin burner.
Before I leave
on vacation, I plan to post on the Middleby Marshall Website site the
following:
Updated PS770 Parts Manual with recent updates....cool
handle insulators, right to left direction kit, label of finger diagram,
label of thermocouple positions, current part number of modulating gas
valve, updating the wiring diagram to Revision I, notation to mark defective
"Sealed for Life" bearings which one was inner and outer. We are working
very closely with our bearing vendor.....they have asked us to ask you
to identify the inner one (bearing closest to the rear oven wall) and outer
one (furthest from the rear oven wall)......they are carefully looking at a
situation called "THRUST WEAR". The field complaint is "oven loud". We
have filmed the DVD Clip on the new procedures we are using in
production....I expect it to be on the Middleby Website in the coming days.
Updated PS870 Parts Manual.....updating similar
changes as the PS770
Current Production Critical Electric Parts Excel
Spreadsheet for all Current Model Numbers.....in hopes of helping you
increase your Inventory Levels of Electrical Parts (air switches, gas train
components......based upon population of model specific ovens). I do not
expect you to stock parts for models which we have not sold in your
territories.....our single biggest complaint from our end users....our local
service provider does not stock enough critical parts....I know that is not
true.....I do expect you to compare your current inventory, to the amount of
model specific ovens you have started up in your territory, to this new
Electrical Parts Matrix.....as our time permits, we will add the Mechanical
Parts.....wear items, blower belts, conveyor bushings, LP/Nat gas
kits,......we need to get that first time fix rate to 100% for all our
Middleby Marshall Customers.
I will be
returning to my desk right after the next service school; that would be
Thursday-May 10....we do have a few more seat available....let me know in
the next two days if you want to send us a student....
This past
service school...had to have been the most aggressive group of techs we have
trained. Thank You for sending them. I suspect my new Homework Assignment,
our List of Expectations sent as homework and a Copy of the previous Exam
(also sent as homework).......did wet their appetite to come to Middleby to
LEARN.....I did not see any students chit chatting, they had their GAME
FACES on.....all of them worked very hard and I think my goal was
attained.....Build their Confidence on how to troubleshoot Middleby Marshall
Conveyor Ovens.
Thank You for
your Support......Looking forward to visiting with you at our Open
House....Tuesday, May 15.
